Lucknow: Post the lockdown, tourism faced a major speed breaker for a while, but now tourism is once again returning to its old self. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to start the Chief Minister Tourism Promotion Scheme soon to promote tourism in U.P. The government has prepared a roadmap to develop a tourist destination in every assembly of the state under this scheme. Village tourism will be promoted through this scheme of Yogi government.
According to the information, committees are being formed at the district level to develop a tourist destination in the Vidhan Sabha. This committee will outline the development of the tourist destination. This plan is planned to lay the foundation stone in 403 Vidhan Sabha constituencies simultaneously.
MLAs, MPs and District Magistrates are sending proposals regarding their districts. Under the scheme, 50 lakh rupees will be given to each assembly constituency, by the MLA. Significantly, every year a large number of Indian and foreign tourists visit the Indian tourist places, but due to lack of necessary facilities, the number of tourists is not increasing.
Efforts are being made by the Department of Tourism to improve it. Under the scheme, not only will the number of tourists increase, but employment will also get a boost. This will also help in conservation and promotion of tourist places.
