Vindhyachal’s Healthcare Outreach: A Successful Medical Camp in Khhamharia Gram Panchayat

Vindhynagar: NTPC Vindhyachal CSR initiative organized a free medical camp in the Khhamharia Gram Panchayat on November 6, 2023, in collaboration with the NTPC Vindhya Hospital. This event was part of the comprehensive rural development efforts in the project area, aligning with the CSR policy.

Experienced medical professionals from NTPC Vindhya Hospital provided free medical services to local men, women and children during the medical camp, with active participation from women and men. A total of 361 patients, comprising 195 women and 166 men, received medical treatment, all of which was administered by the medical team from Vindhya Hospital.

Additionally, free medications were distributed to all patients after treatment.

Key dignitaries and officials present at the event included Dr. B.C. Chaturvedi, Chief Medical Officer (Vindhya Hospital), Mr. Snehashish Bhattacharya, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), Dr. Hema Urao, Specialist in Women’s Health (Vindhya Hospital), Dr. Rakhi, Dr. Abhishek Vaishya, and other medical professionals. Mr. Japnajot Singh, the CSR executive, and other officials and staff from the Health Department were also in attendance.

The free medical camp received widespread appreciation and praise from the rural population and was lauded as a commendable initiative by NTPC.
