Water taxis to add to the Kashi experience soon

Varanasi: Tourists and devotees coming to visit Varanasi are now going to get a new facility, . It is being said that this facility will start in the next month. Water taxi will be operated from Namo Ghat to Assi Ghat in Varanasi. In such a situation, only 4 stations will be made for water taxi between Assi Ghat and Namo Ghat.

Apart from operating water taxi, the system of dead body and water ambulance will also be strengthened. It is being told that three water ambulances will be deployed in the river Ganga in Varanasi. Due to which sick tourists and devotees will get convenience.

After operating water taxi in river Ganga in Varanasi, the tourists traveling the distance from Varanasi to Namo Ghat by road will now have to travel through water taxi only.

In such a situation, with the introduction of water taxis, the pressure of vehicles on the roads of Varanasi city will reduce and where people will get freedom from jam in urban areas, tourists will also be able to decide their journey easily.

In this regard, the media was informed by Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma that 10 facility boats have left from Bhavnagar to Varanasi to operate in the river Ganges in Varanasi. He told that out of 10 facility boats coming from Bhavnagar to Varanasi, 5 boats will be used for Jal Shav Vahini. 3 will be used as water ambulances and two will be used as water taxis.
