Lucknow: Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia inaugurated the distribution of 100000 flags under the free flag distribution program at the Garment Factory of Sikrauri village, Kakori, on the occasion of the Amrit Festival of Independence.
The program started with the performance of Vande Mataram by the Jazz Band of Sashatra Seema Bal.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia said that we all should celebrate this Amrit Mahotsav of independence with great joy and gaiety.
Like we celebrate our wedding anniversary, in the same way we should celebrate our country’s diamond jubilee anniversary. This 75th Amrit Mahotsav of Azaadi is also dedicated to the innumerable sacrifices of our country who sacrificed their lives for their country.
In this Amrit Mahotsav of freedom, we all must put the tricolor in our homes and celebrate freedom she said.
