Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has lauded the budget that the U.P. government has presented in the Assembly. Speaking at a press conference in the state capital Yogi said that that the budget for the year 2021-22 was pro development, dedicated to the welfare of the public and development-oriented for all-round society upliftment. The saffron clad CM said that it would prove to be a milestone for the all-round development of the entire society.
The Chief Minister was speaking at length to newsmen after the Finance minister of the state, Suresh Khanna presented the budget in the Assembly.
Filled with the democratic spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’, this budget will prove to be a milestone for the all-round development of the entire society said Yogi. He said that there was some difficulty in achieving certain targets. Nevertheless, the government handled the situation better. He said this budget is going to give a new hope, new energy and new possibilities to Uttar Pradesh. In this budget, there is a resolve to give work to every hand.
As a budget that is catering to the rural population, this budget is a budget representing the villages, poor farmers, youth, women and every section of the society said the CM. Yogi said that despite the COVID – 19 pandemic, the government has taken important steps by including every section of the society in the spirit of public welfare while maintaining the financial discipline of the state.
The Chief Minister said that this budget has been presented on the basis of overall and inclusive development and empowerment through self-reliance of various sections of the state.
Helping in ‘Ease of Living’ in the state, the process of making water each household reach, electricity to every house, connect villages through roads and digitalize every village, through the budget the overall development framework in the state has been streamlined.
He said that the ‘Chief Minister Farmer Accident Welfare Scheme’ has been extended in the budget. It now includes the earning member of the family, and other people along with the farmer. If any such person dies due to accident, then assistance of Rs 5 lakh will be given through this insurance scheme.
The Chief Minister said that the farmers who are not covered under health insurance of the ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’, there is a provision of free health insurance of five lakh rupees under the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana this time in this budget.
Yogi said that some new schemes have been launched from the point of view of women. The ‘Mukhyamantri Sumangala Yojana’ has got a wider dimension. This year a new scheme is being introduced as the ‘Chief Minister Saksham Sucharnithan Yojana’. Under this, provision has also been made in the budget to nurture any malnourished child ranging from six months to five years or for girls aged 11 to 14 years who are suffering from anemia.
The Chief Minister said that the ‘Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana’ was started for the youth in the past. This budget also provides for the provision of tablets to students for these competitive exams.
Apart from this, it has been proposed to establish a Sainik School at every divisional headquarters of the state. He informed that the airport is being constructed in Ayodhya. It will later be converted into an international airport. Apart from this, several districts including Aligarh, Moradabad, Meerut will also be connected by air services.
