Duty allowance will be given during training:
The government is preparing to empower the Home Guard Department like other security forces. The government has also taken a big decision to give duty allowance to the training home guards. For this, the officers of the department have been entrusted with the task of sending the proposal in 100 days. This is the first time that any government has started rapid efforts to take the Home Guard department forward. Arrangements are also being made to provide modern training to male and female home guards.
Yogi government is committed to rejuvenate the Home Guard department in its second term. Their training is going to include anti-terrorism modules as well as modules for unarmed warfare and PSO duty, with women recruiting 20 per cent of the posts.
The gap in the training period of urban and rural male and female home guards will be reduced to 90 days. Addition of new modules in these 90 days will help in increasing the efficiency and efficiency of the home guards.
