Lucknow: A book fair is much more than a public event. It is often a solution for those who are seeking answers n many a subject including subjects like nationalism, society, circumstances, spirituality and most importantly education. The Lucknow Book Fair is no exception.
The Lucknow Book Fair is going on these days at the Bal Sangarahalaya at Charbagh. This fair with minimum 10 percent discount on books and free entry will run till 14 March. Today was the fourth day of the fair. Readers on the fourth day met women writers, the women also showed enthusiasm in youth activities.
The first session of the fair was named after the writer Anuradha Goyal. Noted writers and journalists like Vandana Mishra, Preeti Chaudhary, Shilpi Sen, Nikita Sarin talked about their creativity. The conversation was conducted by Alok Paradkar.
This evening on Women’s Day, women’s works came to the fore in two poetry conferences organized by Vindhyavasini organization in conjunction with Alka Sahai. There was also a poetry recitation which captured the mindspace of literature lovers.
