Lucknow: Work orders have been issued for purchase of oxygen generator plant, oxygen plant and oxygen concentrator for uninterrupted supply of oxygen in Lucknow district with the assistance received from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) of Uttar Pradesh.
In clear instructions from the Lucknow officer-in-charge for COVID – 19 related matters, Dr. Roshan Jacob held an important meeting in connection with the supply of oxygen to government COVID hospitals. In the meeting, the officer-in-charge Jacob said that in respect of which hospitals will be set up in Lucknow, a review was done and a proposal was made for the establishment of plants in the hospitals identified in the meeting.
The officer in charge was informed that the proposal was made by identifying Community Health Center Mohanlalganj, Community Health Center Gudamba, Community Health Center Chinhat, Community Health Center Malihabad and Jhalkari Bai for five oxygen plants of 9 nm.
A proposal has been made for three oxygen plants of 30 nm at the joint hospital Thakurganj (TB Hospital), Rani Laxmi Bai and Ram Sagar Mishra.
A proposal was made to set up 20 oxygen generator plants of 45 liters / minute at 19 Community Health Centers and Jhalkari Bai in the district. Furthermore a proposal was made to set up an oxygen generator plant of 50 liters / min at the civil hospital.
The Chief Medical Officer was instructed by the Officer-in-Charge that all the hospitals identified in the meeting where the plant is to be set up should be made and sent to the District Magistrate Lucknow to ensure uninterrupted supply of oxygen by setting up the plant as soon as possible.
She also directed that all private COVID hospitals should ensure setting up an oxygen plant, whose instructions have already been given, in which order has been ordered by some private hospitals to get the plant installed, but some have not yet taken action.
