World Bank delegates get a sneak peek into the growing might of Lucknow as a city
Lucknow: The delegation of the World Bank, which came to the capital, visited the Integrated Control Command Center (ITMS) at Lalbagh. They saw and understood the activities across the city with Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra. The Chief Secretary told that Uttar Pradesh has completely changed. Under the Smart City Mission, better infrastructure is being developed to improve the quality of life in cities and attract investment.
From the point of view of security, sensitive places like courts, jails, schools, colleges, parks and markets are equipped with CCTV cameras. Through which the entire city is monitored from the Integrated Control Command Center. This makes everyone feel safe. From security arrangements to challans of vehicles, action is taken when other activities are captured on camera.
Along with the traffic system, they also monitor the cleanliness management. RFID tags have been installed in the houses for proper arrangement of cleaning. Due to this, the management and monitoring of the process of collecting the garbage coming out of the houses is also done from the command center.

Ahmed, Senior Advisor Rajeev Topno, Advisors were Anil SV Das, Country Director Auguste T Côme, Wendy Jo Werner, Lead Country Economist Santha Sundaram etc.
To know the development works of the city
The delegation held a meeting with the officers at Smart City Auditorium. In which Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Principal Secretary Urban Development Amrit Abhijat, Principal Secretary Planning Alok Kumar, Chief Staff Officer Chief Secretary Amrita Soni, Divisional Commissioner Roshan Jacob, District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar, Vice President LDA Dr. Indramani Tripathi and Municipal Commissioner Indrajit Singh were present. They informed the officers in detail about various major development works, new technology and changes including Kanha Upvan, open gym in parks, facade lights, light house project, tree plantation, smart health kiosk, wet waste composite unit, electric vehicle charging station.
Visited Bada Imambara with officers
The delegation of the World Bank along with the District Magistrate and LDA Vice President visited Bada Imambara. They saw and appreciated the workmanship of the historical Asifi Imambara here. Officers told that this historical heritage of Lucknow is world famous.
Tourists from all countries come here to see this unique building of Iranian architecture. The delegation also visited the Asifi Masjid along with the Imambara. After this, Janpath Market located in Hazratganj and then in the evening enjoyed Fascade Light Show outside Vidhan Bhawan.
