Yamraj is watching all those who are harassing women – CM Yogi
Lucknow: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated that “Yamraj,” the god of death, would be waiting for anybody who harasses women in the state.
Yogi made his remarks after a young woman from Ambedkarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, lost her life when some miscreants attempted to molest her by yanking her dupatta, which caused her to fall from her bicycle and hit the pavement. According to reports, the victim was run over and killed by a motorbike.
On social media, the incident’s video quickly gained popularity. On her way home from school on her bicycle, the girl was seen in the video being bothered by two miscreants who attempted to remove her dupatta.
The two individuals who attempted to molest her were friends with the bike rider who struck her, according to the police.
The incident’s three suspected parties have all been taken into custody. According to police, two of the suspects were shot and one fractured his leg while attempting to flee arrest on Sunday.
Since taking office in 2017, Yogi Adityanath has been well-known for his stern crackdown on crime.
According to a TOI report, the UP CM also emphasized the need of a robust legal system for maintaining peace and order and reiterated that no one would be permitted to abuse the judicial system.
