YEIDA top brass gets into a huddle to discuss future course

Greater Noida: 60 agendas will be presented in the board meeting to be held today in Yamuna Authority. The most important agenda among these is related to farmers and allottees.

The board meeting will include 142 cases of lease back of 18 villages, 88 cases of shifting and the issue of ending the distinction between ancestral and non-ancestral property. About 10 thousand farmers will benefit from this.

This time, for the first time in the board meeting, Zero Period and OTS scheme is being introduced keeping in mind the interests of all types of allottees including group housing, mixed land, commercial, institution and others. This agenda will not only benefit more than five thousand buyers, but will also reduce the financial burden of builder-institutional allottees.

Many other issues are also being included in the board meeting, including that 5,500 flat owners of Yamuna Authority are also to be given the right to apply for the residential plot scheme. Earlier the rule was that anyone who owned a flat in the flat scheme could not apply for land. This time this rule will be removed.

Along with this, the issue of ending the distinction between ancestral and non-ancestral land will be included in which more than six thousand farmers will benefit. The issue of now getting compensation of Rs 3,100 per square meter to all the farmers of the villages of Yamuna Authority area in the district will also be put up in this board meeting.
