Lucknow: Although always a physically active person, I did not try Yoga much before the Covid-19 lockdown. I heard benefits of Yoga but never tried it. The Covid-19 situation helped us explore new activities and Yoga became that for me.
Yoga helped me connect with my mind and Soul. It improved my concentration and stay calm. Yoga helped me focus on my breadth which helped me focus on my energy. After initial few sessions itself, Yoga helped me feel energised and seemed to purify my mind and body. It brought a beautiful change in my life.
Reduction in stress, enhanced calmness, increase in focus and better health, were the improvements I saw during my practice of Yoga in last one year. I often think that this treasure was always with me, but I started late in life. I encourage more people to practice Yoga and experience the positive change in their emotional and physical health and subsequently in all other aspects of life. It is always helpful to take guidance from Teachers and Trainers when you start practicing Yoga.
