Yogi government to ensure money under DBT for school goers is utilized properly
Lucknow: With Diwali, the cold has also arrived. In such a situation, instructions have been given to monitor the sweaters, shoes and socks of children in the council schools.
Under the DBT scheme, an amount of Rs 1200 has been given to all the children this year. Now teachers have been asked to ensure that all children come to school wearing sweaters to protect them from the cold.
In the council schools, in July this year, an amount of Rs 1200 per student has been directly transferred to the accounts. With this amount, children’s uniforms, school bags, stationery, shoe-stockings and sweaters are to be purchased.
Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand wrote a letter to all the BSAs even before the effect of cold increased. It has been warned that under DBT, the sweaters and shoes and socks of all the children should be monitored.
Under the scheme, teachers were asked to go door-to-door to interact with family members. And during PTM in school also they have to motivate the children to wear uniform sweater. BSA Dr. Arvind Kumar Pathak informed that these instructions have been issued to all the schools. This point will also be checked during the inspection in the coming days.
