Young minds of Lucknow University get a deeper understanding of Artificial Intelligence through seminar
Lucknow: A seminar on ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Entrepreneurship’ was successfully organized by the Placement Cell of the Faculty of Engineering under the patronage and guidance of Vice-Chancellor Lucknow University Professor Alok Kumar Rai and Dean Faculty of Engineering Professor AK Singh. The main objective of the seminar was to make the students aware about the latest trends and innovations in the field of AI.
The keynote speaker of the seminar was Professor Alok R Chaturvedi, Professor of Management and Computer Science at the 150 year old Purdue University, Government funded, US. He explained the latest advances in AI technology, the key challenges and opportunities facing AI researchers and practitioners, with a special focus on the involvement of AI in the field of entrepreneurship.
Topics such as the uses of AI, the impact of AI on jobs, and the potential for AI to transform healthcare and other industries were discussed. Seminar attendees had the opportunity to learn about the latest breakthroughs in natural language processing, machine learning, and other key areas of AI research, and to learn about its capabilities and potential applications.
The students were given an opportunity to participate in a Q&A session at the end of the seminar where they asked their questions and doubts regarding the future of AI and its impact on human life. Dr. Himanshu Pandey, Dr. Anupam Tripathi, Dr. Siddharth Singh, Dr. Shailendra Bhaskar, Eng. Zeeshan Ali, Engg. More than 200 teachers and students including Jitendra Singh were present.
