Mumbai: The Seema Pahwa directorial features dramatic readings by Manoj Pahwa and Sadiya Siddiqui
Zee Theatre rekindles the beauty and power of classic stories with its anthology ‘Koi Baat Chale’ which will begin with Manoj Pahwa reading Saadat Hasan Manto’s ‘Toba Tek Singh’ and Sadiya Siddiqui reading ‘Hatak.’ The stories laced with Manto’s satirical yet empathetic style will reveal universal truths about the human condition. While ‘Toba Tek Singh’ is about the pain of displacement, ‘Hatak’ outlines a sex worker’s quest for love and respect.
Directed by Seema Pahwa, the subsequent episodes will also feature stories of Harishankar Parsai and Munshi Premchand and will star actors like Vinay Pathak, Vivaan Shah, Vineet Kumar, and Gopal Datt.
‘Koi Baat Chale’ will be released on the 19th and 27th of November on different platforms.
